Satish C. Penmetsa, CEO
Satish is the co-founder, CEO and chief-usability-freak of rapidBizApps. He founded rapidBizApps with a mission of enabling Enterprises to harness the power of mobile devices. He foresaw in 2010 that companies would begin handing out iPads and Android tablets to their employees - starting with their mobile employees such as sales people.
On his way to creating rapidBizApps, Satish spent years at IBM Research, NetApp, and at a startup. At IBM, he focused on algorithms - especially for performance improvements and scalability in storage subsystems and large scale web crawling and data mining infrastructures. He is credited with 2 patents. At the next stops at the startup and at NetApp, he applied that expertise to improve operational efficiency in both small and large scale settings. And then, Apple released the iPhone.
Satish has an MBA from The Wharton School of Business. He did his masters from The University of Texas at Austin.
In his free time, Satish has tutored many middle-school and high-school students in Math and Science. He also enjoys running and biking. Do ask him about his embarrassing experience running the LA marathon.
